Oxfordshire-born singer/ songwriter Tom Webber started busking at the age of 16. And since his first EP ‘Stop And Think About It’ released in 2020 he has played around the country supporting the likes of Nick Lowe, Richard Hawley, and Suzanne Vega and played a handful of UK Festivals like Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight, Truck, and WOMAD.

Inspired by the music of all generations past and present, Tom’s sound is filled with both classic & contemporary influences such as Sam Cooke, Bob Dylan, Jake Bugg & Paolo Nutini. Following on from “Howling at the Moon”, Tom releases new music on September 29th, 2023 with a 4-track EP “The RAK Tracks”.  Recorded at the legendary RAK Studios, the lead track “Living for Us Both” is the true story of losing a brother at a young age, and also features a duet of the classic Korgis hit “Everybody’s Got to Learn Sometime” with Maya Lane.

SNOWBIRD
This song was inspired by the expression “Snowbird” – someone who moves from the Northern states of America to a warmer southern state in the winter. With its uplifting chorus complimenting the finger-picked intimate verses, “Snowbird” echoes elements of a modern-day Laurel Canyon vibe.

LIVING FOR US BOTH
‘Living For Us Both’ is a true story of Tom losing his brother from a young age.  “If there’s a hell or there’s a heaven, that’s where we’re gonna meet I know, until that day in hell or heaven, I’m living for us both”. Atmospheric guitar lines weaved into bold filioque brass sections, make this song stand proud to be a celebration of life

EVERYBODY’S GOT TO LEARN SOMETIME
This cover of the 1980 hit classic by The Korgis is the first duet in Tom Webber’s catalog and features London singer-songwriter Maya Lane on Vocals and accompanied by producer Jonathan Quarmby

I Am What I Am
This song is as pure and honest in its sound as its lyrical content. Much like a self-portrait, “I Am What I Am” hides no shame in what it’s about – a self-reflection of who I am.

Listen to this song and more emerging artists just like this one on “Discover”, playing Sundays at 10 am PT/1 pm ET on Channel R – Today’s Hits & Your All-Time Favorites.
