Singin’ IDA! & Linus Bruhn – Dig Deeper

Linus Bruhn has been performing on stage since early childhood and, at just 27years old, has already experienced the highs and lows of the music business. Now, the young singer-songwriter is releasing the single “Dig Deeper” with Singin’ IDA! – “Germany’s coolest children’s choir”.A song that inspires the courage to never give up and to believe in yourself.

Linus Bruhn has been captivating audiences for years with his voice, guitar, and music. As a social media star, he reaches a young, international audience across all channels and inspires his fans with music, lifestyle, and dance performances. An exceptional creative talent who has everything it takes to reach millions. Linus’ musical career began early: at the age of ten, he played the young Tarzan in theDisney musical in Hamburg, and at sixteen, he participated in the German TV show “The Voice of Germany,” captivating audiences and beyond. This was followed by his first record deal, an artist contract with one of Germany’s most prestigious management companies, and collaborations with renowned artists in the national music industry

But despite a rapid career start, Linus also has to realize that the music business is an extremely tough one, in which things don’t always go smoothly. And that there are moments when you begin to doubt yourself, and you can only get out of them if you don’t give up, grit your teeth, and work hard. Linus processed these experiences in the song ‘Dig Deeper’, which literally means that in certain situations in life, you have to believe in yourself and “dig deeper”. The song’s sound is reminiscent of the lives of gold diggers of yesteryear in the Wild West, who searched for their fortune with a pick and shovel.

‘Dig Deeper’ is a true passion project for me, as the song’s message resonates with everyone, especially in these times! No matter how many times we fail and struggle with fears and challenges, no matter what others tell us, as long as you don’t give up, you can achieve anything!

Linus sees a particular significance in the collaboration with the Singin’ IDA! choir children: “We ourselves are our greatest strength! Having the Singin’ IDA! choir children involved reinforces this sense of community and the message: unlock your greatest potential from a young age! The children are an incredible enrichment for the song and for me. Since I started playing music at such an early age myself, I identify with many of the kids, and it’s an incredible joy to see how much fun and energy they put into it! Dig Deeper’ was written by Linus Bruhn, Stephan Piez (involved in four number 1 albums) & Charlie Grant (Simply Red, Melanie C). The song, whose style and choral sounds are reminiscent of Alice Merton’s ‘No Roots’, was musically staged by German producer Stephan Piez (productions for German pop artists such as Glasperlenspiel and Annett Louisan, among others, executive producer and discoverer of Florian Künstler) . The Hamburg children’s choir project ‘Singin’ IDA!’ under the direction of Daniela Steigelmeets regularly with prominent artists from the national and international music scene and discusses important social issues, which are then addressed in newly created songs. Behind Singin’ IDA! are the initiator Daniela Steigel (music manager and choir director -collaborations with Robbie Williams, Benny Andersson/ABBA and many others) fromHamburg and music producer Stephan Piez from Berlin.
